Kyle & Lauren
The Details

When I saw Lauren’s Kate Spade shoes, sparkly gold and fit with a bow, I knew we were in for a real treat.

They perfectly reflect Kyle and Lauren’s wedding. The cute bow and peep toe represent the romantic and feminine elegance of the day while the sparkly gold hints at the fun filled party that ensued. It was an unforgettable wedding.

Clos La Chance is a gorgeous venue with stunning views of the rolling California hills. At this point in the year, they are golden in color which only becomes richer as the sun begins to set. It was a sight to behold, only to be made more beautiful watching the bride and groom promising their lives to one another. Ah Sams delighted our visual senses even more with their lovely flowers. And Big Fun DJ Woody kept the party going all evening.

I can’t end without giving a shout out to Ashley, the matron of honor and sister to Lauren. The maid or matron of honor is key for a bride on her wedding day. The more I watched the day unravel, the more I understood why Lauren seemed to be so at ease, Ashley meticulously helped with anything and everything. And she did it all with such calmness and joy. Lauren and Ashley are truly blessed to call each other sisters.

And one more thing! I recently had the chance to watch Kyle and Lauren’s wedding video by Max Monty. His editing skills are brilliant! He will now be on my referral list for sure. He’s a joy to work with and produces quality work. Take a look for yourself – Kyle and Lauren’s wedding video.

Kyle+Lauren: Wedding at Clos LaChance Winery

Kyle and Lauren promised their lives to one another on top of a hill with rows of vineyards draping the landscape below.

The California sun shone brightly casting a perfect warm glow to an already romantic day. They laughed their way through their vows and kissed as husband and wife. The ceremony was short, but the kiss was not – these two couldn’t wait to be husband and wife. As they made their way down the aisle as Mr and Mrs, Kyle gave a big thumbs up and Lauren wore her usual breathtaking smile.

After the ceremony, everyone was ready to celebrate but a cocktail hour and dinner stood between them and the dance floor. Toasts were shared, glasses clinked, and everyone smiled with joy for Lauren and Kyle. The sun began to drop and so did the temperature until that first song dropped from the dj. That started the party of all parties. One that will go down in history and be talked about for years to come.

Kyle and Lauren, I was moments away from dragging Vitaliy onto the floor and into one of your many dance circles. But I couldn’t muster the courage so we stood on the sidelines secretly dancing and taking photos. It was so much fun! Thank you for giving us the honor and extreme pleasure of photographing your beautiful wedding. We wish you a marriage filled with love and laughter! Congratulations! We love you both!

The Details

Beltane Ranch has become a new favorite venue. It has the warmth of feeling like you’re getting married in your backyard, but the beauty of the California country side.

Guests were welcomed onto the ranch with lemonade served from the classic Chevy parked just outside the entrance. The big oak tree in the middle of the property provided shade while guests watched Adam and Jessica share their vows, give their rings, and kiss as husband and wife. After the ceremony, there were a myriad of yard games to enjoy, including a life size Jenga made by the father of the bride. One of my favorite details were the pinwheel escort cards that blew in the warm summer breeze. As dinner came to an end, guests made their way to the dance floor and never left. The sun descended and the Italian-styled stringed lights flickered on radiating light and romance over the dance floor. It was a celebration to remember.

None of this could happen, of course, without the incredible team of people who put it all together. Joy from Beltane Ranch was an absolute pleasure to work with and a constant support throughout the day. And Sammy from Alex’s Catering made sure that every single guest was taken care of. He is not only efficient, but he adds life to the party with his fun personality. But I can’t end this post without acknowledging Lynn Hannafin, a close family friend, who was the coordinator of all coordinators. She held the clipboard and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Just the kind of friend every person needs.
