Korey + Amanda
St. Louis Wedding

Korey and Amanda met her first day on the job. Korey was scheduled to work from home that day, but it was his job to help new employees get set up. Most of us might hold a grudge on the person who had us called into the office, but not Korey. He was a gentleman from the start.

Amanda was new to the area, so Korey always invited her to social events to help her make friends. He helped her move into a new condo once. But he really started to win her heart by offering to pick her up on rainy days to carpool. Can we say chivalrous? And all of this happened before they were even dating.

But one day everything changed. At an event called the “Stache Bash” put on by the American Mustache Institute, Amanda and Korey kissed. What can we say? Mustaches bring people together!

They were both unsure of the kiss, but clearly their love had started way back when. On one of those rainy days in St. Louis when Korey came by on his white horse to swoop Amanda off her feet. Ok, not literally on a white horse, but he definitely swooped her off her feet. And it was a happily ever after kind of love story.

Delighted Magazine
The Fall Issue

Vitaliy and I just returned to the Bay Area after photographing a fabulous wedding in St. Louis. We stayed for the week to visit with friends and family and enjoy all the delicious food the Midwest has to offer. Frozen custard and toasted ravioli ranking high on my list of favorites!

As we drove home from the airport, I couldn’t help but notice everyone’s homes adorned with fall decorations. Pumpkins seem to be everywhere and I don’t have a clue what I’m going to be for Halloween. If you are like me, you are scrambling to catch up to the season that’s already upon us. Here is a simple yet stunning fall inspired shoot we photographed for the lovely Delighted Magazine. Check out the full spread and enjoy the entire issue here. I promise, you will leave inspired and ready to celebrate the season!

Finally a Homepage

Taking advice from Seth Godin, we launched our website in January without a homepage.

Seth always says that if everything is perfect when you ship then you’ve shipped too late. I can’t imagine if we would have waited until all the sections of our website were in place to launch the site. We would have shipped 10 months too late.

But I’m excited to announce that we finally have a homepage and MORE! Peter of Gurry Design has once again rocked our world with his design skills. I’ll let you explore all the different facets, but be sure to check it out on your mobile device too!
