Last night, Vitaliy and I threw on our tennis shoes and walked downtown to eat at our favorite hamburger joint – Jeffrey’s. The weather was perfect; we walked hand in hand, just as the sun was beginning to descend, with nowhere else we needed to be but right there with one another. I’ve been on a mission to stop looking forward and enjoy my life just the way it is today. It’s amazing how much more peace and joy that kind of mentality can bring.
I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week! Our weekend plans entail a farmer’s market, a wedding consultation, good food and conversation with friends, and of course, a phone call home to Mom on Sunday.
